Tea & Train
Colombo → Kandy → Nuwara Eliya → Nanu Oya (scenic rail leg to Ella) → Ella (2N) → Airport

You ride the hill train with your day bags. Your driver takes the van and all your luggage to your Ella hotel by road and meets you there.
The Kandy–Nanu Oya section of the line is currently closed for bridge repairs. We drive that stretch and put you on the train at Nanu Oya, which is the part everyone comes for.

These are our standard routes. Tell us what you'd change — add a night, drop a stop, start from your hotel instead of the airport, swap Yala for Udawalawe — and we'll re-price it and send it back the same day. Most of our bookings are altered versions of these six.
Arrivals between 10 December – 5 January and 5 – 20 April carry a 15% peak-season rate. These are the two busiest fortnights in the Sri Lankan year and driver and vehicle availability is genuinely limited — book early for those dates.

Insured for tourists.
Every vehicle carries tourist passenger insurance — cover written specifically for fare-paying visitors. Ordinary Sri Lankan private motor policies exclude carrying passengers for hire, so most informal drivers are not covered. Ours are.
SLTDA-registered partners.
We work only with drivers and tour operators registered with the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority, the licence tourist transport legally requires, renewed every year.
