Ceylon Now started as a simple frustration: travellers were paying top dollar for cookie-cutter "tours" while the artisans, cooks, and guides who actually make Sri Lanka special were getting a fraction of the cut.

So we built a marketplace where every experience is hand-picked, every host is verified, and the money flows where it should — to the people doing the work.

Today you can book three things with us: half-day and full-day experiences led by the people who live them, private rides and airport transfers with an experienced English-speaking driver-guide, and fixed-price round tours of five to thirteen days. We also arrange stays with small properties we know personally, and short layover trips for travellers passing through Colombo.
