- How much transit time do I need?
- Six hours between flights is comfortable for a city trip; with five we stay close to Negombo. Under four hours we'd honestly suggest staying airside.
- Do I need a visa to leave the airport?
- Most nationalities need Sri Lanka's electronic travel authorisation to clear immigration. Apply online before you fly — it is quick, and we'll remind you when you book.
- What happens to my luggage?
- If it isn't checked through, leave it in the airport left-luggage counter or keep it in the vehicle — your driver stays with it all day.
